Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket Navy Blue

First issued to US Air Force pilots in the early 1950s, the L-2B flight jacket was originally intended as a lightweight alternative to the bulky MA-1. By dispensing with unnecessary pockets and heavy insulation, the L-2B is much slimmer than its predecessors. The outer material is made of silky smooth, scratch-resistant 4,4 ounce nylon, while a lightly padded diamond quilted lining provides comfort and warmth.
